We had one of Santa's elves come and pay a visit for the holiday season. His name is Peppermint. And these are just a few of his hijinks.

Thanksgiving 2012
Thanksgiving was just ust his year. We are anticipating Dan coming home soon so we decided to make it easy. It was a good day with good food. Nice quiet day!

Veterans Day at the Zoo (11-12-12)
A day off from school so we headed to the zoo. It was a nice day, not too warm and we got to see the giraffes getting treats and the elephants get treats. We didn't even get to see the elephants but from afar, the last time we came.
Who am I Presentations (Nov 4, 2012)
Keegan's class did a presentation that explained who they were to the class. They had to bring in 3 items from home that would best explain them and then tell in a few short sentences what they expect from the school year. Keegan did great although we need to work on his presentation skills, i.e. keeping his hands away from his face.
Young Eagles with Keegan (Nov 2, 2012)
Bronwyn and I were able to accompany Keegan on a school field trip. I was able to do the same one with Seth 2 years ago. They signed up for Young Eagles and were able (with the help of an actual pilot) to fly a small plane. Very exciting!!! It was held at the airport near the base, so we didn't have to travel very far.
