Happy birthday Paige!! August 8, 2013

We now have a 7 year old on our hands. This time next year we'll be preparing for her baptism. I can't even believe that. Blows my mind!!!    She had a good birthday. No party this year. We'll do a big one next year.  She got everything she wanted and even got to share cupcakes with her class at school. For dinner she picked Golden Corral and she got a special breakfast and lunch. Happy birthday to our oldest princess!!

 

First Day of School- Aug 5, 2013

Good bye summer vacation. First day of school is upon us. No one was ready. Ug.... Back to early nights and early mornings. We got a new principal this year and several of the teachers from years past are gone. Never fails. We get a new principal and they clean house. Oh well. Seth's teachers are new, Keegan's teacher is a first year teacher and the only 4th grade teacher, but Paige's teacher is a returning teacher and one she knew so that worked out. At least one of the kids got a teacher they wanted. It does promise to be a good year though. We are excited for the prospects that lay ahead.

oh and Seth lost the last of his baby teeth (we think) today. I'm not ready for him to be getting this old. :(

 

last games - July 27, 2013

Last games of the season. It's a bittersweet moment. The kids had a lot of fun and I'm so thankful for that, but now it also means that we only have 1 more week left of summer break. It has FLOWN by! Both kids did really well and learned a lot about their respective sports. Both want to continue playing in the fall. Hopefully we'll be able to do that for them and get Seth into something other than gaming (haha).
