Yesterday the stake held it's annual Fall Fun Festival. It's usually a ton of fun and the kids are usually well worn out by the time we head home. That was no exception this year. There weren't as many booths and things to do, but what was there certainly kept them busy and wore them out! Wore me out too!! Bounce houses and good fun and of course good friends were not in short supply! The boys met up with several friends from school that we had no idea were members of our church. They go to different wards so I guess that explains why we never saw them at church!

Valley View Fall Festival
We were invited to attend another school's fall fest with some friends. We gladly oblidged! Can't attend too many fall fests! It was small but a lot of fun. Each of the kids got a ton of candy from the games. There was also finger foods to keep everyone entertained. Glad we got to go and support the school!

Field trip to Dad's Farm
Instead of going to Apple Annies, the 2nd graders decided to go to Dad's farm. Apparently their kids go to the school so the teachers thought it would be good to support them. I can respect that. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a GREAT time and of course we got another pumpkin that needs to be carved. Guess what I get to do on Halloween? Yep....fun. Keegan was gracious and said that Bronwyn could have the pumpkin he picked out. I just love that kid. He thinks of others more often than himself. If you notice the pictures, it's the same farm we went to on Saturday. But that's ok. We didn't get to ride the horse and buggy so this time was much better!!

Pumpkin Carving
We had all of our pumpkins and decided now was as good a time as any to carve them. We picked out our designs and began working. I found an electric carver at the grocery store and thought it would be terribly helpful at cutting these guys, yeah, not so much. I broke both blades and tore it all to pieces. It went into the trash as soon as we were done. Oh well.....It wasn't very pricey so I guess you get what you pay for. We had fun and that's all that really matters. We got pumpkin goo all over the place and even Zuko got into the action by eating any flyaway pieces of pumpkin that hit the floor. Good times, good times!!
