flight home

have i mentioned lately that flying with 4 kids is nigh unto suicide? yeah, it's that tortuous! our first flight was not that bad actually. plane was teeny tiny but it worked out. paige, bronwyn and i sat behind the bulkhead, keegan was across the aisle from us in his own row (of course his seat was the row) and seth sat behind us. they had electronics and were very happily engaged in those for the whole flight. that changed when we got to dallas. for some reason we didn't get to ride the train to get us to the next gate which put everyone in a foul mood. we ended up walking the whole way only giving us about 15 minutes to scarf down our dinner and get on board. not cool. and of course that particular flight was over book and ridiculously full. and instead of sitting in  the front of the plane and being aloud to board first (i mean really a mom and 4 kids, you are going to make wait until the end to board??? way to go american airlines!). so we got on the plane and seth and i shared a row (once again the only 2 seats in that row) and paige and keegan sat across the aisle. paige immediately went into thermonuclear meltdown and i thought i was going to die. took her 15 minutes to calm down and i could just feel the daggers coming from the other passengers....awesome.....bronwyn was a peach, she slept almost the whole way of our first leg and the entire second leg. it was AWESOME! by the time we got to the airport we were done being in such cramped quarters. we met our ride and headed home (which took another hour-grrr-hate being so far from the airport). when we got home we all pretty much slept where we crashed. i didn't even bother moving luggage out from where it dropped in the living room.

these were all taken on our first leg of the flight

our stuff is right on the top left..

that is one small plane for such a long flight....i feel cramped just looking at it.

Oh. my. nightmare. I'm so sorry you had such a horrendous second flight. Made me feel cramped just thinking about it. I'm so glad you got home safe and sound...and sane (for the most part). haha:)
